Madson 2021 Toyon Vineyard Pinot Noir (Santa Cruz Mountains)

This wine is still emerging from its bottling shell. However, the nose already excites with earthy aromas of tar, soil and rock, with damp wood and light red fruit in the background. Tightly woven, the palate is layered in cranberry and woodspice flavors. Matt Kettmann
