This is a medium-bodied, oak-inflected wine. Initial aromas of sun-warmed lumber and vanilla give way with air to scents of cola, earth and mocha. The overall impression is savory, especially on the long finish, which picks up some asphalt notes. Probably best with herb-crusted beef or lamb. Joe Czerwinski
