Maison Rouge 2010 Cohola Cor Hominis Laetificat (Gigondas)

Hints of wet earth, porcini mushroom and cacao confirm the development and maturity of this vibrant blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. It's a rich, velvety wine cut by crisp blackberry and cherry flavors along with a savory graphite edge. Rimmed by soft, dusty tannins, it's drinking beautifully now but should maintain composure through 2025. Anna Lee C. Iijima
