Makoto Aged 23 Years Single Grain Whisky

Rich, Sherried fruit aromas engage the nose. The palate opens with waxy honeycomb, black pepper and clove, leading to a honey cakelike character. Adding water lightens it to golden raisin and mild oak. This is a single-grain Japanese whiskey made in the Kumesen Distillery in Okinawa, aged 23 years in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled in 2019.
