Dense, earthy aromas of blueberry and pencil lead lead to a big but slightly awkward palate that shows elevated cool-climate acidity and hard tannins. Herbal, slightly pasty flavors of generic black fruits end in a clampy finish. The blend is Syrah, Cab Franc and Merlot.
