Manos Negras 2009 Torrontés (San Juan)

Pineapple and burnt hay are the key aromas, and they are followed by a sheer, neutral palate with sour apple and background pickled flavors. The finish is basic and a touch pithy, and overall the wine could use more of that vibrant, tropical character that elevates the grape. Michael Schachner
