Marc Kreydenweiss 2018 Moenchberg Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Notes of baked apple and bruised, ripe apple peel signal mellowness on this wine's nose. The dry, fresh palate counters this with spicy freshness reminiscent of cinnamon, sandalwood and a touch of white pepper. Concentrated, juicy and precise, it carries that earthy spice to the fore on the dry finish. Drink by 2045. Anne Krebiehl MW
