Marchesi di Barolo 2010 Coste di Rose (Barolo)

This is rather subdued but after ample time in the glass it reveals aromas of oak, toast, espresso and chocolate that continue on to the palate along with vanilla notes. It lacks the vintage's hallmark intensity. Drying tannins give an astringent finish. Kerin O’Keefe
