Aromas of dark culinary spice, iris, berry and a whiff of oak lead the nose. The linear, tightly wound palate shows raw cranberry, clove and star anise framed in racy acidity. Taut close-grained tannins leave a firm finish. Give this a few more years to unwind then drink.
