Marie Brizard Crème de Banane Liqueur

Looks like a very old sauternes. The first sniffs suggest butterscotch flavoring; after aeration the aroma becomes fried banana, honey, graham cracker and banana candy-like. Palate entry is fruity tart, almost sour, then at midpalate the flavor shifts to ripe banana dipped in honey and I'm a believer. Closes on a bittersweet, graham cracker and mildly toasty note. P.P.
