Marimar Estate held this bottling back for more than a year after their other three Chardonnays were released. The “Dobles Lias” designation refers to extended lees contact, which you can taste and feel in the palate's exceptional creaminess. The yeasty sourness is balanced by rich oak (80% new) and tons of ripe apple, pear and tropical fruit flavors. Very complex and satisfying, and will age for a few years. Drink now–2015.
