Mario Marengo 2005 Brunate (Barolo)

Cellar Selection

The Brunate cru is famously celebrated for its sturdy, well-structured Barolos. The soil is a bit denser and richer here and the wines take on more concentration and power as a result. You'll recognize aromas of wild berries, almonds, graphite, smoke and cola. The tannins are tight and firm and this wine will last many long years in the cellar.
