100% Mourvèdre from the Ciel du Cheval vineyard, this unusual wine has a distinctive, barky, herbal note. At first it seems to be missing something in the middle, but it's just the dryness of the tannins and the spicy, herbal nature of the raspberry and pomegranate flavored fruit. It actually extends beautifully through a very satisfying and lengthy finish.
