The Dead Horse is Mark Ryan's book end to the Long Haul. This one is Cabernet-dominated (rather than Merlot), with all five Bordeaux grapes in the final blend. It's dark and fragrant, satiny in the mouth, with appealing flavors of plum, cassis and red licorice. Smooth and lingering, it's a fine example of the Mark Ryan Dead Horse style.
