Though it seems to have some of the lightness of young vines in the cherry fruit flavor, there is clear Red Mountain terroir in the mouthfeel. Tight, dark, supple and almost steely, this layers its fruit atop a mineral base, and finishes with a whiff of smoke and pickle barrel. Paul Gregutt
