Markham 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

Smells a little overripe, with raisin and prune aromas, and toasty oak. Very soft and supple; a voluptuous silky texture. Concentrated and tightly wound. Clearly of high quality, although it loses a few points because of a certain lack of deftness.
