Very sophisticated and complex, this wine is one of Lodi's very best. It has great balance and intriguing flavors ranging from black pepper to blackberries, to sage and smoked meat. It is full bodied and firmly tannic, but everything is in good proportions, making it mouthfilling and ever so slightly reserved at the same time. Made from 76% Syrah plus Carignan, Petite Sirah and a touch of Viognier. Best after 2023.
