Odd to see a 2002 reserva still floating around as a current release, but this is the first we've seen of this leaner-bodied, somewhat strained wine. The nose has burnt leaves and struggles to find a center point, while the palate is coconutty and creamy in flavor but tough in terms of feel. Reflects the tough conditions of '02.
