Marqués de Cáceres 2006 Rosé (Rioja)

Baked pastry and warm berry aromas are the opening salvo, with dry, almost toasty fruit sitting on the palate. It's not oak-aged yet it has that type of weighty personality. Finishes fairly flat and weighty, with lower-than-expected acidity. Michael Schachner
