For the most part, this Rioja is good, not great. The nose deals tomato leaf, herbal notes, floral berry and leather, while the palate is fresh and racy, with strong acidity. Flavors of earthy, lightly herbal raspberry and plum end in a modest, acidic, scratchy finish.
