A Merlot-Cabernet blend that starts out a little awkward and then really finds its legs. This is a perfect “beginner's” Bordeaux, in that it's fruity, clean and precise. The lack of complexity and high-end nuances doesn't hurt it at all. A little overoaked, but with airing out it tastes quite good. And it has the stuffing to match with hearty foods. Best Buy.
