The first few inhalations find notes of bacon fat and coffee grinds; aeration introduces dry aromas of saddle leather, unbuttered popcorn, flax/textiles, oak, and chicory. The palate entry is long, silky, semisweet, and toffee-like; at midpalate there's a rush of maple, vanilla extract, cola nut, sap, dark caramel, and pine. Ends up semisweet, medium-bodied, marshmallowy, honeyed, and cocoa-like. P.P.
