Martha Clara 2005 Riesling (North Fork of Long Island)

This is a delicious, German-style Riesling that balances rich, ripe fruit flavors with crisp, citric acidity. First, there are the aromas of honey, flowers and lemon, and then rich, elegant flavors of apricot and tropical fruit that finish clean and bright. The intensity of the wine means it could age, but it's great to drink now. Susan Kostrzewa
