Very ripe hints of apricot and juicy pear veer towards lemon on the nose. The palate presents the same tension between tangy wonderfully sharp citrus and ripe generosity. It is the ripe freshness that wins out due to a precise fine-boned structure that almost crunches. This is truly lip smacking, concentrated and very, very refreshing with its uncompromisingly dry finish. Drink now through 2040. Anne Krebiehl MW
