Martin & Weyrich 1999 Nebbiolo (Paso Robles)

Smells rich and alluring, with smoky plum and tea aromas and a whiff of freshly crushed black pepper. In the mouth, it's deeply flavored, with a solid core of plum and blackberry fruit. Fairly substantial tannins make the palate scoury now, and the finish is tannic, too. Try it with barbecue or a rich lasagna.
