Martin Woods 2017 Havlin Vineyard Unfined & Unfiltered Pinot Noir (Van Duzer Corridor)

Editors' Choice

From a late-ripening, cool-climate site, this wine deftly incorporates subtle herbal accents with bright, lively cranberry and raspberry fruit. A 50-50 mix of French and Oregon barrels was used, almost entirely neutral. The wine is spicy and focused, showing the care and craft of Winemaker Evan Martin, who used 20% whole clusters in the ferment. Paul Gregutt
