86pointsMaryhill 2004 Proprietor's Reserve Sangiovese (Columbia Valley (WA))

Maryhill's Proprietor's Reserve bottling features heavy barrel toast and more extraction than the regular Sangiovese. It is very soft, very approachable, smooth and sweet, with a finish that tastes of strawberries and cream. Definitely a consumer-pleasing style. Paul Gregutt
