The oak (50% new French wood) seems a bit heavy handed, interjecting scents of wood, coffee and vanilla on the aromas and flavors. It's a shame as the cranberry flavors otherwise provide interest.
very smooth, lighter than expected in mouth feel, hint of oak but varietal flavor came through to the end. Value at $30+
