Maryhill 2015 Vineyard Series Art Den Hoed Painted Hills Primitivo (Columbia Valley (WA))

This 100% varietal, aged in two-thirds European and American oak, has aromas of blackberry and raspberry jam along with coconut accents, followed by ripe, full-bodied fruit leather flavors and a warm, cranberry and spice-filled finish. It's a spot-on example of the variety. Sean P. Sullivan
