Maryhill 2016 Merlot (Columbia Valley (WA))

Wood spice, tire rubber, green wood and cherry aromas stand out on the nose. Rich fruit and plentiful barrel flavors intertwine on the palate, with the latter taking over. Coffee notes linger on the finish. The style gets in front of the fruit. Sean P. Sullivan
