This blend of Aglianico and Piedirosso opens with mature plum and prune aromas as well as whiffs of hazelnut and chestnut. The robust, warm palate delivers ripe blackberry, stewed prune, licorice and espresso notes alongside aggressive tannins that will need years to tame.
