Raisins, a touch of tomato, and a deep hickory smoke define an unusual bouquet. Tastes hot and somewhat sour, without much cherry or leather to save it. Barolo from this vintage should be hitting its stride, but this one doesn't seem to have ever had one. It ends with some alcohol burn and barely a finish to speak of.
