Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, road tar and bacon are masculine and dark. This is tannic and wide on the palate, with smoky flavors of country ham, bacon, raw oak and roasted black fruits. Hickory and smoked-meat notes dominate the finish on this burly Toro. Best from 2016 through 2020. Michael Schachner
