Maurice Schoech & Fils 2017 Schlossberg Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace)

In this wine, generous aromas of ripe pear have an extra juiciness and fruitiness that evokes baked peach. The fruit is equally intense on the supple, rounded and rich palate where they are made more precise by citrus pithiness that lends texture and verve. There is richness and depth, but all is subtly presented. Anne Krebiehl MW
