Mauritson 2014 Rockpile Ridge Zinfandel (Rockpile)

A vineyard farmed by the family, Rockpile Ridge is set at the 1,200-foot elevation and planted to nine blocks of the variety, harvested and fermented separately. In this vintage, that leads to full-bodied, well-developed flavors of blackberry dotted in black-peppery meat and dusty tannin. Virginie Boone
