Mauritson 2016 Loam Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma County)

This wine is sourced from gravelly loam, a soil type the producer believes to be capable of achieving greatness in Cabernet Sauvignon. It is powerfully built in concentrated layers of sage, crushed rock, cedar and black fruit. The oak is integrated, leaving a trace of vanilla. Virginie Boone
