Mauritson 2017 Clough Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma County)

This wine is made from an eroded riverbed layered in quartz and chert. The wine is linear, savory and bright in underlying acidity, with aromas of violet and baking spice. The densely packed midpalate is a burst of black currant and cassis. Virginie Boone
