Mauritson 2018 Positas Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma County)

Part of the producer's single-soil series of wines, using 100% of the variety from identical clones and rootstocks, this is meant to highlight a gravelly loam soil formed in alluvial material called Positas. With a good depth of fruit, it offers well-integrated notes of dust, bay leaf and rock, with a touch of grip and moderate length. Virginie Boone
