Even in this difficult vintage Mauro Veglio has made a beautiful Barolo from this famed vineyard in La Morra. It has a gorgeous fragrance of violet, wisteria, berry and plum, while the palate delivers succulent dark cherries layered with spice, pastry cream and a hint of chocolate. It's already enjoyable, so drink it now and over the next few years. Imported by T. Edward Wines and Vanguard Wines.
