Maximin Grünhäuser 2014 Herrenberg Spätlese Riesling (Mosel)

An ample dusting of saffron and spice lends umami and depth to this light-footed spätlese. Honeyed peach and apricot flavors are concentrated and sweet, yet so impacted by acidity, the finish feels lifted and dry. It's ready to drink now but will continue to please through 2024. Anna Lee C. Iijima
