Other than that this is made from Pedro Ximénez and comes from a high-elevation vineyard in remote Elqui, there's almost nothing to this basic white table wine. Mild white-peach and yeasty aromas are followed by a bland palate. Lightly oxidized flavors of wheat and stone fruits are salty, while low acidity means the finish is soft. Michael Schachner
