Smooth and cool in the nose, with a touch of menthol topping off fragrant blackberry. The palate is searingly fresh, courtesy of bright acids and even brighter ripe grapes. Some tasty cocoa and coffee derived from well-integrated oak adds character the finish. Full-bodied but not even bordering on flabby. Michael Schachner
