Melhill 2016 Estate Chardonnay (Los Angeles County)

Editors' Choice

Though quite expensive, this is an interesting argument for growing wine in the heart of West Los Angeles, as these grapes hail from Brentwood. Aromas of nectarine, lemon rind and key lime meet with a rich woody background on the nose. The sip is quite bright and refreshing with flavors of lemon and mandarin orange. Matt Kettmann
