This is an awkward wine with aromas of peach, melon and honey, but it also has slightly oxidized aromas of Marsala or pinecone. The wine definitely has valid points but might prove difficult to pair with the seafood dishes Vermentino is usually designed for. Tasted both bottles with consistent notes.
