84pointsMelsheimer 2010 Reiler Mullay-Hofberg Molun Riesling (Mosel)

The little-known Mosel village of Reil is the source of this perplexing wine. It possesses attractive and slightly stony, citrus aromas, and starts off on the sweet side, with bright pineapple fruit. But somewhere on the palate it shifts gears, turning dry and tart almost to the point of being sour. Joe Czerwinski
