Mendelson 2001 Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands)

Redolent of black cherries and cola in the nose. On the palate, it fans out to reveal spice, more cherry, strawberries, bacon, cedar, tea and spice flavors. Tannins are powdery but ripe, while the finish is bright.
