This dynamic and rich Chardonnay from the village of Buttrio is a stunning example of this grape and region. Mixed orchard fruit, roast lemon, stone fruit and distinct minerality drive the aromas. As the wine evolves, it reveals dried flowers, crème fraiche and baking spice. The palate is full in body with baked apple, roasted pineapple, clove, vanilla and crushed rock. A serious wine worth finding. Drink now–2035. Jeff Porter
