Merryvale 2003 Juliana Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc (Napa Valley)

Editors' Choice

Definitely full of peach aromas, and on the side you'll find accents of smoke, caramel and lemon curd. If that sounds heavy, it's not. In fact, this wine shows excellent balance. The palate is pure, with sweet pineapple and nectarine. And the finish is flattering; the mineral, chalky quality is just right. Purity is this wine's first, middle and last name.
