Methven Family Vineyards 2004 Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This new winery has put out a first release that is juicy, sweet and loaded with concentrated raspberry and strawberry fruit. It's so fruity, in fact, that it tastes more like fruit concentrate than wine! If it had a bit more tannin and some of the bones of a bigger wine, the fruit could certainly carry it to a higher score. Paul Gregutt
