Methven Family Vineyards 2014 Reserve Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This seems somewhat disjointed and angular, with tart, almost sour berry and cherry fruit. There are acetic scents and chewy tannins. Though labeled reserve, it's a wine that fails to deliver the more subtle pleasures of the grape. Perhaps this would best be served along with a hearty stew. Paul Gregutt
